I'd give them more than 5 stars if I could. I had a deck over my office that, only when it rained heavily, it would leak through the ceiling below. I had tried every kind of homeowner waterproofing application until it was clear that I needed to hire a professional. I interviewed the three companies with the best reviews, and while the other two seemed competent, American Decking was the most responsive and had the best price. I definitely made the right choice. As per their policy, I paid them nothing until the work was done to my satisfaction. After the work was completed, they water tested it and bingo - no more leaks. During the entire process Georgi was available by phone, email or text. Clearly, his doing a great job was as important to him as it was to me. Now I look forward to the next big rain.

Hands down to some of the best people I've worked with for the many projects that come with home ownership. After last December's once in a century storm, our veranda's patch up job from the previous owners didn't hold up and leaked into the room below. So we had our deck evaluated and concluded that it needed to be demolished down to the plywood and redone. So, the journey of researching begins with cost comparison and different types of decking. After comparing multiple construction companies and decking companies, American Decking met our price point. Another thing that I absolutely loved hiring a decking company versus a construction company is the warranty and the fact that this is their specialty. From the beginning of the project with demolition all the way to the last day, they were extremely professional and efficient with the entire process. They met and exceeded our expectations for the quality of work. I'd definitely recommend them to our friends and families.

I got a few bids and American wasn't the cheapest and not the most expensive one.... but I sure am glad I used them. The price they quoted was reasonable and they showed up on time as promised and did a really nice job. The workers were professional and very clean and cleaned up every day. I also love the fact that they did some extras and didn't nickel and dime me to death with extra fees (I have had this with the every other decking company I used!!). I will only be using American in the future. I had my communications with Georgi...(I think he might be the owner).
