“I'd give them more than 5 stars if I could. I had a deck over my office that, only when it rained heavily, it would leak through the ceiling below. I had tried every kind of homeowner waterproofing application until it was clear that I needed to hire a professional. I interviewed the three companies with the best reviews, and while the other two seemed competent, American Decking was the most responsive and had the best price. I definitely made the right choice. As per their policy, I paid them nothing until the work was done to my satisfaction. After the work was completed, they water tested it and bingo - no more leaks. During the entire process Georgi was available by phone, email or text. Clearly, his doing a great job was as important to him as it was to me. Now I look forward to the next big rain.”

“I got a few bids and American wasn't the cheapest and not the most expensive one.... but I sure am glad I used them. The price they quoted was reasonable and they showed up on time as promised and did a really nice job. The workers were professional and very clean and cleaned up every day. I also love the fact that they did some extras and didn't nickel and dime me to death with extra fees (I have had this with the every other decking company I used!!). I found this company after comparing on the Web, when I need to fix a historical leaking problem of my roof top patio flooring. After briefly understanding the issues, Gregory Hinds of the company sent a technician the next day to thoroughly checked the deck floor and the environment. With a reasonable estimated price, I accepted the job and then scheduled to work on restoring the floor. He was very courteous and always left everything cleaned up. “We have recently had our second story balcony repaired by American Decking and  Waterproofing. Because they did such a great job I want to share my experience. They are in great demand, so do allow time for scheduling. Once that is in place, their timing worked out exactly as anticipated. They estimated 4 days and that's how long it took. The balcony is just outside our bedroom but they accessed it mostly from the outside with a ladder so as not to disturb us. The actual work was done by an amazing team of two led by Alex. His expertise, workmanship, attention to detail and desire to please us were obvious. In conclusion,  congratulations to the company team. on quality of the work and accuracy of the time estimate!  Marvin, thanks for following our project so closely and for being so responsive and informative. “We used American Decking for 2 projects, one being fairly large! They built a beautiful and functional deck with lighting and railing and gave recommendations on what they thought would work best for our situation. After seeing the quality of the deck and how easy they were to work with we had them complete a large covered outdoor entertainment area with a gable roof, fireplace and bbq! It is stunning and everyone that has seen it raves about the design and workmanship. The entire crew was personable and able to answer questions when we had them and they put everything away each day so it always looked clean, even while in the middle of construction. “Very happy with the work performed by American Decking & Waterproofing. While it was hard to get on the schedule, given how busy everyone is right now, I held out and stayed in regular communication with Georgi, and I'm glad that I did. Jose did the work and was incredibly friendly, professional and conscientious about our home. While we haven't had those heavy rains to actually test the waterproofing, I'd be surprised if there were any issues. And I know they'll stand by their guarantee in the event there's a problem. I would certainly recommend.”
